Given the national chronic pain and opioid epidemics, there has been growing recognition of the efficacy of neuromodulation techniques in helping to reduce patients’ pain while also reducing their opioid requirements. We are pleased to announce that two UCSF Division of Pain Medicine posters were voted as the top poster in their group at the North American Neuromodulation Society Annual meeting this January, 2019. For the meeting, the NANS accepted more than 130 abstracts for posters, which were divided into groups with 8-10 posters per group.
