The Anesthesia HR Liaison Unit interfaces with a multitude of campus offices such as Academic Affairs, Labor and Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, the School of Medicine Dean’s Office, the Office of Medical Affairs & Governance, WeID, SecAccess, Transportation, the International Student and Scholars Office, the San Francisco Department of Health and Department of Education and Training as well as each generalist team within the HR Shared Services Center.  The unit also sets up and troubleshoots clinical access with UCSF Health; and liaises with IT/Clinical Systems, OR Perioperative Services, Pharmacy and Material Services.

Provides leadership, training and expertise to department’s HR Unit, oversees all HR initiatives and special projects and serves as a key administrative resource for faculty and departmental leadership. Develops and implements procedures and internal controls that facilitate team’s efforts managing a high volume of critical HR processes.
