The anesthesia department provides anesthesia, critical care and post-operative pain management support to patients seeking treatment at the Betty Moore Women’s and Bakar Cancer hospital, connected with the Benioff Children’s Hospital at Mission Bay. The hospital focuses on urologic, gynecologic, head and neck, intestinal, hepatobiliary and orthopedic surgical and non-surgical oncology treatments. Patients are also seen for benign gynecology issues and for assisted reproduction treatments.
