The Finance and Clinical Operations Unit provides financial management and oversight of the department’s activities at UCSF Health and ZSFG. The unit is comprised of two service groups: The Anesthesia Finance Office and Clinical Operations.
Members of the Finance and Clinical Operations Unit include: In the Anesthesia Finance Office are Patricia Bustos and Jessica Lowe, who provide financial services specific to UC Health; and Eric Tow and Mon Saepharn, who provide similar services to ZSFG. In the Clinical Operations service group are Judy Chan, Yvonne Chow, Kirkmon Lai and Jennifer Toy. This group coordinates clinical services and staffing across all UCSF campuses.

Coordinates monthly pediatric and adult faculty assignments for Parnassus, Mission Bay, Mount Zion and the Orthopedic Institute. Services include monthly tracking of physician work hours and leave balances and faculty days over summary reports. Prepares service tally reports and coordinates CRNA staffing verifications and Resident liaisons with staffing numbers.
