The Director of DEI and Culture will work closely with our Vice Chair for DEI, Dr. Odi Ehie, to support and enhance employee culture in the areas of DEI, well-being, employee development, recruitment and retention. Successful applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Communications/Business or related area and 5+ years of related programmatic experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of DEI and social justice principles, practices, and theories, as well as AA/EEO, Title IX, and civil rights laws/regulations.
- Experience developing and leading DEI programs, seminars or workshops.
- Experience leading or participating in significant organizational change and ability to affect positive change with measurable results.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills. Ability to build trust, influence employees of all levels, display empathy and facilitate courageous conversations.
- Advanced project management skills to complete projects within budget and time constraints.
