UCSF Anesthesia Residents, Fellows, and Faculty:
We would love to have your presence at our American Society of Anesthesiologists' Doctors Back to School event on October 16th, during the ASA conference in San Francisco!
The event will be at a local middle school in San Francisco, which has primarily students from underrepresented backgrounds. We will have multiple opportunities for you to engage with the students, including various stations (ultrasound, epidural, intubation, blood pressure, auscultation), and you would be a tremendous help assisting with those stations, talking to the middle schoolers about your journey into medicine. We aim to inspire and motivate these young minds to medicine and believe it is something they too, can aspire for their futures!
The time commitment would be from 9 am-12 pm (must be available the whole time), and we will have transportation to and from the ASA conference (from Moscone Event Center).
