A 13-part documentary series by Deroit Public Television that explores the cultural diversity and impact of Arab American individuals and communities. The following resources are copied from the Arab American Stories website:

The American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is a civil rights organization committed to defending the rights of people of Arab descent and promoting their rich cultural heritage.  ADC was founded by former U.S. Senator James Abourezk in 1980.  Today, ADC is the largest Arab American grassroots organization in the U.S.

The Arab American Institute (AAI) is a nonprofit organization committed to the civic and political empowerment of Americans of Arab descent.  AAI represents the policy and community interests of Arab Americans throughout the U.S. through two primary focus areas:  campaigns and elections, and policy formulation and research.

The Network of Arab American Professionals (NAAP) is a non-partisan, volunteer-based organization dedicated to strengthening the Arab-American community.  The organization’s mission is both comprehensive and inclusive, empowering the community through social, cultural, professional and political initiatives.

Arab America is a national website founded with the purpose of promoting an accurate image about the Arab American community and the Arab world.  Arab America’s primary goal is to become a “bridge” bringing together the diverse Arab American community.  Secondly, Arab America is an educational resource site for all Americans.  Arab America serves five markets: California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, and Washington DC.

The Arab American National Museum is the first and only museum in the United States devoted to Arab American history and culture.  The Museum documents, preserves and presents the history, culture and contributions of Arab Americans, and brings to light the shared experiences of immigrants and ethnic groups, paying tribute to the diversity of our nation.

Al-Bustan Seed of Culture is a Philadelphia-based organization dedicated to presenting and teaching the Arabic language, arts, and culture.
