Novel clinical biomarkers for various neurological diseases and liver transplant. In this project, we measure certain proteins in plasma samples from patients with spinal cord injury, ischemic stroke, neonatal hypoxic-ischemia encephalopathy, and liver transplant to identify novel biomarkers that correlate better with injury severity and recovery.
