A San Francisco native with deep ties in the community, Leah’s people-focused work is making an impact both within and outside of our department. She was recently named the Co-Director of the UCSF School of Medicine’s Differences Matter: Build Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Expertise program, and is also a 2022 recipient of the Healthcare DEI Champions Award. Leah is driving positive change at UCSF as the inaugural director of DEI and Culture in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care, and don’t miss her feature in the SF Business Times October 7th special issue!
