Biography Leah is the Director of Opportunity and Impact at UCSF, where she leads efforts to cultivate an inclusive, vibrant, and supportive workplace that embodies the department’s core values. Working closely with her team and partners across the organization, Leah oversees initiatives that promote UCSF's PRIDE Values and Principles of Community. With a focus on fostering cultural awareness and empowering individuals, Leah manages a wide range of projects and programs and activities that strengthen connections within the department and the broader UCSF community, including education on inclusive practices and unconscious bias. Leah is passionate about creating spaces where employees thrive and everyone feels empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. A third-generation San Francisco native, Leah enjoys painting and weightlifting outside of work. She believes in maintaining a well-rounded life, finding that her hobbies enrich her perspective and enhance her professional contributions.
