We are thrilled to announce that Leah Pimentel, MBA, the director of Diversity, Equity Inclusion (DEI) and Culture in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care, is a 2022 recipient of the Healthcare DEI Champions Award as part of the Health Equity and Leadership Conference!
In her role as the inaugural staff director of DEI and Culture, Leah has used her amazing creativity, ability to connect with others, and business operational savvy to implement programs to welcome new employees, celebrate and honor different cultures, educate and inform department members, and encourage connection amongst employees.
