Biography My research interests include: (1) adeno-associated viral vector (AAV)-mediated tissue specific gene transfer and gene expression; (2) the pathogenesis of cerebrovascular malformation; (3) development of new therapies for ischemic stroke and arteriovenous malformation; and (4) the impact of aging, peripheral injury (such as bone fracture), and innate immune response on stroke recovery.
