On June 24, 2024, UCSF’s Administrative Management Professionals (AMP) announced Petrice Blemur, Anesthesia Tech Supervisor, as the new Co-Chair Elect for the fiscal year 2025. Petrice will serve the first of her three-year terms alongside co-chairs Wendy Gamboa and Hira Safdar. AMP is an organization of Campus and UCSF Health administrators from academic, clinical, administrative, and research units. AMP fosters an inclusive, cohesive, and influential administrative community by gathering and disseminating information and by providing career development and networking opportunities for its members.

An east coast transplant, Petrice has become an indispensable part of the anesthesia team at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). In her role as an Anesthesia Tech Supervisor, she conducts interviews, promotes new workflows and ideas, and provides HR-related support to the anesthesia tech team. She is a champion for developmental activities for job enhancement, utilizing her transformational leadership skills to foster growth and advancement within the technician field.

Outside of work, Petrice enjoys traveling, spending time with her adorable husky named Shyla, and watching anime.

Petrice’s dedication to her team is evident as she strives to help them achieve their goals, both collectively and individually. We are sure she will bring that same passion and support to her role as AMP Co-Chair Elect. ZSFG and the entire anesthesia community look forward to Petrice’s continued contributions and leadership in her new role as AMP Co-Chair Elect.
