Overview The endogenous cannabinoid system plays a role in brain development but remains poorly understood. Our group is investigating how both endogenous and exogenous (phytocannabinoids) may interact with the developing brain and the behavioral changes that may be associated with exposure. Many possible different pathways exist to effect these changes, including non-cannabinoid receptors and the immune system.
