Liver transplant and general anesthesiologist. Clinical interests in short and medium term outcomes after liver and kidney transplantation. Primary non-clinical interests in clinical informatics and EHR facilitation of clinical research.

BS in Computer Science with extensive experience in clinical database design, data mining (SQL) and basic data analysis (R). Certified by Epic in Clinical Database Models with 3 years experience in data extraction from Epic Clarity Database. At UCSF, developed and maintains the Transplant Outcomes in Anesthesia Database (TOAD), a scalable perioperative data warehouse for liver and kidney transplantation at UCSF used for quality improvement and academic research. Interests in creation of perioperative data warehouses containing validated data to facilitate operational, logistical, and clinical quality improvement and academic research interests on department-wide scale. Goals to utilize this database as a platform for clinical decision support employing state of the art statistical and machine learning techniques.
