Biography Polina oversees the clinical staff departments at Zuckerberg San Francisco General, leading the progressive, evidence-based Respiratory Care Services Department and the dynamic Anesthesia Tech workroom. She is responsible for developing strategic plans that encompass a wide range of initiatives, including financial affiliation agreements, staffing strategies, equipment management, and the establishment of policies and procedures. She is focused on staff safety, enhancing quality patient care, and operational efficiency, ensuring that everyone thrives in delivering exceptional healthcare services. Polina has been a part of UCSF since 2019. Originally from Uzbekistan, she moved to New York in 1995 and California in 2000. She lived in the Sacramento area for 19 years before relocating to Oakland. Outside of work, Polina enjoys competitive rowing, sailing, and playing classical piano.
