Biography

Christy Boscardin, Ph.D. is a professor in the Department of Medicine and Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care and the Director of Student Assessment in the School of Medicine. Dr. Boscardin is also the Director of the Medical Education Scholarship for the Department of Anesthesia. Her research interests include medical education with a focus on assessment, artificial intelligence and education, data science, implementation science, high-value care, and access to quality health care. Dr. Boscardin received her BA from UC Berkeley, her MA from Stanford University, and a PhD in research methodology with an emphasis on applied statistics and advanced quantitative methods from UCLA. She is currently the associate editor for the Journal of General Internal Medicine, the statistical editor for Perspectives on Medical Education, and on the editorial board for Teaching and Learning in Medicine.
