October 29, 2024 By Morgen Ahearn Awards Matthew Bratko. UCSF Wellbeing Grant, for: The Professional Gender Expression Workshop. The Professional Gender Expression Workshop will offer an opportunity for UCSF staff, faculty, and learners who face challenges with their gender presentation to receive advice and resources from a gender expression coach. Participants will receive tailored advice and will have the opportunity to ask trans and non-binary leaders and workers about their experience and knowledge. The workshop will take the form of a six-week course for an inaugural group of 30 participants. While there are several resources for straight/cis members of the UCSF community to learn how to create an accepting and empowering workplace for trans/nonbinary people, this workshop is attempting to generate resources to empower trans and nonbinary people directly.
