Job Duties: The University of California San Francisco (UCSF), Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care invites applications for a position at the Assistant Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical series. The candidate will provide full range of services as member of the University's faculty including administrative responsibilities, teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows within the UCSF Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care, research and clinical service to care for patients incident to teaching and research. Contribute to quality assurance programs and continuing education. There are multiple openings for this role. Requirements: Medical Degree or foreign equivalent, Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Anesthesiology or completion of anesthesiology residency abroad, possession or eligibility for a California State Medical license (full or certificate of registration under Section 2113). Individuals considered for appointment at the assistant rank and above will need to be Fellowship trained or have equivalent advanced training and/or experience beyond that of anesthesia residency training (at least 2 years of anesthesiology experience following residency). Salary: The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment.
