Biography As the department’s Lead Writer, Hannah spearheads the production and editing of high-level, impactful communications, including newsletters, executive messaging, talking points, press releases, articles, website content, and more. She manages mass communications and creates tailored content for various platforms. Collaborating with the Communications Team, leadership, stakeholders, faculty, and staff, Hannah contributes to the department’s strategic communication efforts, offering meticulous editing, compelling storytelling, and innovative ideas. She ensures the seamless dissemination of department-wide information across diverse channels and addresses complex challenges through creative problem-solving and critical analysis. In addition, Hannah serves as the project manager for various publications, including collaborating directly with Chair Dr. Michael Gropper on Miller’s Anesthesia. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Mount Holyoke College and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco.
