Description

Pain during cesarean delivery is an important maternal health issue that can lead to significant psychological distress and lasting trauma. These events are uncommon but require clear communication, shared decision-making, and effective treatment.

Please join us for a joint forum hosted by the departments of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and Anesthesia and Perioperative Care. This session will focus on recognition of intraoperative pain, communication with patients and across teams, and practical management approaches.

Light refreshments will be provided.
