Mount Zion

This year at Mount Zion, we continued to build and expand our same-day total joints program, achieving a success rate of 80% of targeted patients being discharged on the same day. We also welcomed the Interventional Pulmonology team, which relocated most of its outpatient cases from Parnassus to Mount Zion.

Looking ahead, we plan to transition select short-stay orthopedic spine cases to Mount Zion. Additionally, Benton Duckett has assumed the nursing triad lead role following Lina Bandera’s transition to Bayfront, where she now serves as the full-time lead.
