The Pirracchio Data Science Lab's mission is to Develop, explain, teach, and apply cutting-edge safe, robust and equitable data-science technologies to advance care and RWE in the acute care setting including critical care, preoperative care and emergency care. More specifically, the lab specializes in the development and application of AI methods for predictive analytics and clinical decision support in acute care. The group also has a special focus on implementation aspects, including algorithm deployment strategy, impact study, post-deployment monitoring and bias/fairness evaluation.
