Overview We analyze large institutional and multicenter datasets to investigate anesthetic practice and outcomes across neuroanesthesia. Our work integrates detailed anesthesia records, physiological measurements, medication exposures, surgical information, and patient characteristics, linking them to clinical registries and postoperative outcome data where available. By examining patterns across patients, procedures, and institutions, we aim to identify factors associated with complications, understand variation in care, and uncover opportunities for improvement. Our goal is to translate routinely collected clinical data into evidence that supports safer, more effective, and individualized excellent neuroanesthesia care. This project is conducted in close collaboration with the UCSF Department of Neurological Surgery.
