August 11, 2025 Dr. Seema Gandhi recently hosted a webinar presentation and panel focused on UC Health’s transition from piped nitrous oxide (N2O) to portable cylinders for delivering this important anesthetic gas in operating rooms. N2O has a considerable global warming potential, and piped systems have been shown to leak large amounts of this gas. As part of this project UC Health also released a toolkit to support other institutions as they transition to portable nitrous oxide delivery. Read the Full Article
