Sebastian Zeiner, MD, PhD, MBA. $75,000 Investigator-Sponsored Research grant from Grifols for the project, “Thrombotic Safety of Fibrinogen Concentrate in Adult Liver Transplantation.” The study will evaluate the safety of fibrinogen concentrate in adult liver transplantation, with a focus on postoperative thrombotic events and bleeding-related outcomes.

Education and Training

Sebastian Zeiner, MD, PhD, MBA. Successfully completed his habilitation at the Medical University of Vienna. The habilitation recognizes his academic and scientific contributions in anesthesiology and confers the Venia Docendi, the highest academic teaching qualification awarded by the university and the formal authorization to teach independently in the field of anesthesiology.
