Controlled Hypotension:
a. Indications:
- Proven to reduce blood loss in major spine surgery
- Also shown to work for hip surgery and maxillofacial surgery
b. Contraindications:

- If Evoked Potential Monitoring:
- Limit to 0.3 MAC or less
- Desflurane is much less suppressive than sevoflurane or isoflurane
