Women in Medicine Month - Endowed Chairs

Chair

In spite of gains in the overall number of women in the field of anesthesiology, gender disparities remain in leadership positions. In honor of women in medicine month, we highlight two women endowed chairs leading the Education and Research Divisions in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care at UCSF. Both of these extraordinary leaders completed two residencies and two fellowships, and have been recognized widely for their expertise and many contributions to the field.
