We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Leah Pimentel, MBA, as our inaugural Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Culture.
Leah received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Dominican University of California and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Sonoma. She has over 15 years of experience in leading culture and operational change, and is also well versed in representing diverse backgrounds and integration programs, events, resources, and values into core people and business processes.
One of her major accomplishments as a DEI expert is overseeing diversity outreach for the UCSF Real Estate’s Supply Chain Vendor Diversity event with 260 Black and Latinx owned businesses to inform and connect them to UCSF’s procurement and contracting opportunities with capital projects.
