For over 40 years, the Respiratory Care Services group at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital has provided cutting edge and compassionate patient care, pushed the boundaries of respiratory care research, and helped to educate generations of medical students, residents, fellows, nurses, respiratory care therapists, and other allied health professionals about appropriate respiratory care.

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the integral value, skills and contributions of respiratory therapists has been immeasurable.
