We are pleased to announce that UCSF Professor Emeritus of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care, Dr. Adrian Gelb, has been appointed as a fellow of the Chinese Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Gelb was among only three American Society of Anesthesiology members to be designated. Well-known for his global health work, Dr. Gelb was recognized in 2013 by the International Chinese Academy of Anesthesiology with a Special Award for Fostering International Collaboration, and he is also the current Secretary of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists.
