Educational Projects

Every student is expected to complete one educational project. Some examples of past projects are: preparation of a case-based presentation to their colleagues and multiple attending physicians on a topic of their choice, contributing to the syllabus for one of the rotations for the students or residents, participation on the 140 website, or writing an abstract for anesthesia meeting.

Christian Lux presents the results of his study "Peripheral opioid analgesia and the role of substance P" that he completed at his home medical school.
Claudius Fischer crowned his impressive performance during the 140.01 rotation with an excellent review of "Anesthesia for patients with intracoronary stent".

Student Perspective:

"I can honestly say that it was one of the best learning experiences I've had thus far in medical school. I especially wanted to thank Drs. Thornton, Infusino, and Tang, as well as Drs. Fender, Ferschl, and Bradley. Everyone was extremely friendly and readily took on the task of teaching a medical student. Excellent rotation!"
