The George Gregory and Kathryn Rouine-Rapp Endowments

The department is honored to announce the creation of the Dr. George Gregory Endowment Fund (established 2024) and Dr. Kathryn Rouine-Rapp Endowment Fund (established 2025).  

The George Gregory Endowment 

The Dr. George Gregory Endowment Fund will ensure that future generations can benefit from the same opportunities and pursue innovation and excellence as Dr. Gregory has always encouraged. Contributors to this fund will be part of recognizing this extraordinary physician, researcher, and educator while paving the way for further breakthroughs in the field. Contributions will play a crucial role in honoring Dr. Gregory’s lifelong commitment to pediatric patients and anesthesia trainees and will help cement his impact for years to come. This endowment fund will support pediatric anesthesia research, the Annual George Gregory lectureship, and continue the efforts of Dr. Gregory toward improving pediatric anesthesia education internationally.

The Kathryn Rouine-Rapp Endowment

The recently established Dr. Kathryn Rouine-Rapp Endowment Fund is dedicated to advancing Dr. Rouine-Rapp’s lifelong mission of pediatric anesthesia. This endowment fund will provide sustainable funding for pediatric anesthesia clinical research, including education, recruitment of external faculty, and direct support for research projects.

The department is deeply grateful to the family of Dr. Rouine-Rapp for their generosity and vision in starting this endowment. This gift not only honors Dr. Rouine-Rapp’s memory but inspires others to give back to celebrate her remarkable life. Dr. Rouine-Rapp was a beacon of knowledge, leadership, and human kindness. This endowment will allow her legacy to continue to inspire and influence us.
